Memory House Portal
The Khumbulani Memory House: Oral History Museum has been Dr Gcina Mhlophe's long time dream and is finally in its beginning phases of existence. With the physical incubator space at our offices as we continue to garner support towards a building this dream can call home - we have embarked on archiving various interviews with many torchbearers in our country. With support from the National Heritage Council, we have recorded the stories and wisdoms of ordinary South Africans who have made an extraordinary stamp in the journey of our nation. A place where anyone can research and learn for academia, nation building or even their own family history!
If you know an elder or keeper of wisdoms who may wish to share their own journey or history, do not hesitate to contact us as we add to an archive that will allow for access to many narratives that may otherwise have gone unheard.

You can have a look at some snippets of our interviews on our YouTube channel.
Full interviews available at the physical incubator space by appointment only.
