Our Storytelling Tree: A South African Storytellers Directory Book

This is a self published book, edited by Dr Gcina Mhlophe and compiled by the Gcinamasiko Arts & Heritage Trust team (Tholinhlanhla Dlamini-Ngcoya and Nomakhwezi Becker) .
The book consists of 10 stories and archives the journeys into story and contact details of 39 South African storytellers.
It is Dr Mhlophe' s way of creating space for light to shine on some of the Storytelling family tree and an ode to those who master storytellers who have gone before.
With this directory book, she says "We do not stand alone, we stand together on the shoulders of giants and branch out from the great trunk of this magical tree called Story"
